1. Booking Conditions
By booking a tour with VMI Travel, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation.
- Reservation: A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation and receive the required deposit.
- Payments: For travelers from the USA, payments are accepted in USD. Full payment is generally required 60 days prior to the departure date unless otherwise specified.
- Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate personal information as it appears on your passport.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policies
We understand that plans can change. However, as we prepay local Vietnam vendors, the following cancellation schedule applies:
| Cancellation Notice | Cancellation Fee |
|---|---|
| 60+ days before departure | Deposit only (Loss of Deposit) |
| 30-59 days before departure | 50% of total tour cost |
| Less than 30 days before departure | 100% of total tour cost |
Note: Airfare cancellation policies are subject to the specific airline’s terms and may be non-refundable.
3. Travel Documents & Visas
It is the sole responsibility of the traveler (specifically US Citizens) to obtain and hold a valid passport and all necessary visas for entry into Vietnam.
- Passports: Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your intended stay in Vietnam.
- Visas: Most US citizens require a visa or an E-visa to enter Vietnam. VMI Travel may provide guidance, but we are not responsible for visa rejections or entry denials by immigration authorities.
- Health: You are responsible for meeting any health entry requirements, including vaccinations or medical certifications.
4. Limitation of Liability
VMI Travel acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide transportation, sightseeing, activities, or hotel accommodations. We do not own or operate these independent suppliers.
VMI Travel shall not be held liable for:
- Any injury, loss, or damage to person or property during the tour.
- Delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary due to weather, strikes, “Acts of God,” or government actions.
